A multiple stage capital improvement project consisting of roadway improvements, sewer and water mains. This project was divided into seven separate schedules including Intergovernmental agreements, State Land agreements and agreements with the commercial and residential developers.

Completed in Q2-08, the initial cost of this project was $22,341,451. Final cost with additions were approximately $24 million.

CVL Construction Services, LLC was retained to be the resident engineer and construction manager of the project including project administration, construction inspections, daily interaction with contractors, subcontractors, client and city officials, on-site decision making, monitoring job progress, reviewing and certifying all pay requests and change orders, preparing record drawings, preparing certifications for improvements, public relations, punchlist, final walk and final acceptance of project.

Desert Ridge Superblock 1 South 36-Inch and 42-Inch Water Main Extension Mayo Boulevard and Deer Valley Drive Phoenix, Arizona Owner:  Pulte Homes  / City of Phoenix Construction Administration for the nearly 3-mile water transmission main extension in North Phoenix.  Contract included review of shop drawings, interpretation of contract documents (RFIs), field visits, testing, record drawings, certifications and SWPPP preparation and inspections.  With a budget project cost of $2 million.  Work is scheduled to be complete in the summer 2008.
